December Gift Giving

Families from the School of Religion had an opportunity to impact the lives of 250 children served by the Center for Prevention of Child Abuse.  The response was overwhelming.  One family after another chose a child or children from the list generated on Signup Genius.  The children were identified by first name, sex and age with a short description of the child's favorite color and interest.
Before December 10th the wrapped presents started coming in and by the deadline, Sr. Marie's office was filled with Christmas gifts wrapped in love the the students of Religious Education.  The brightly colored gifts are an expression of bright and generous hearts fostered in families filled with love, not only for thier own children, but also for other children in great need.  It is heart warming to witness this!
