Religious Education is a life-long endeavor: learning how to receive and give the gift of love according to the example and teaching of Jesus Christ. The catechist who serves our students is a parishioner who has an abiding personal, sacramental relationship with Jesus and strives to model Him daily in word and action. Our students will be empowered to do the same.

Receiving love: anticipation, listening, sharing, expressions of joy and satisfaction
Giving the gift of love: acceptance, respect, sensitivity, generosity, gratitude, communication, service, joy
The example and teaching of Jesus - knowing the example and teaching of Jesus through reflective study that is scriptural, sacramental, experiential learning within the life of the Catholic Church community
Personal relationship with Jesus through the habit of meaningful prayer that is communal and individual, deeply expressive, honest, faithful and joyful
Empowering: helping all to realize their full human potential to live in graced loving relationship with God and with every person who shares our lives
